Window Film Orlando Homes, How?

Window Films, how do they work?

Can window films really block the effects from the sun?

Solar radiation from the sun has 3 components:

  • Visible Light
  • Infrared Light
  • Ultraviolet Light

Window film can upgrade your windows by affecting the following components!

Visible light is the light we can see, this we call glare.  The darker the window film the more glare we reduce.   If we reduce the visible light you can improve the comfort levels in your home.  We have shades from clear (70)to dark (05).

Infrared light is the heat energy that we can feel as warmth.  Window films can regulate the level of heat passing through or reject it before it has a chance to warm your room.  We can reject up to 85% of the infrared energy, our most popular films reject around 65%.

Ultraviolet light we can also feel and see as our interior furnishings start to fade.  We can screen out or block 99% of UV rays.  Window film keeps your floors, pictures, and decorations from fading.

The amount of heat and light rejected is all dependent on the type of window film selected.

Window films enhance the solar and thermal performance of your windows and doors.  Window film reduces solar heat gain, which reduces the amount that your air conditioning needs to cool your space.

Window Tinting, upgrade those windows instead of replacing them!

Compare the return on investment and you too will be convinced.
